Somewhere between Serial Numbers 34,000 and 40,000 Kaypro began preparing to add kick stands to their machines. By about 50,000 they were regularly installing the kick stands on the machines.
A few Pre 81-003 KII machines had factory kick stands (or at least were designed to use them). Most of the 81-003 KII machines would have a factory kick stand. All of the K2, K4, K10 and K1 machines had kick stands.
(I suspect that Kaypro changed to factory kick stands on the KII about the same time that they released the K4 and K10.)
Examples
Here are three examples of the feet/kick stand arrangement:
Note that the kick stand, Model Number and Serial Number are all part of the same piece of sheet metal so you can't swap parts and end up with a mixed machine.
Pre-81-003
You will see from the images below that the Pre-81-003 (I sometimes refer to them as 81-001 and 81-002) KII machines also seemed to have an option to add a kick stand though I am not aware of a factory kick stand being installed on them.

After Market Kick Stands
The one kick stand that looks like the factory kick stand if you don't look close is from ICP. Here is the advertisment for it and a picture of one on a machine. It is clear from the picture that it is very different from the factory kick stand.
