Here is a machine I ran across on eBay after it ended. It sold for $200 on August 10, 2023.

With a description of:
"Selling this laptop computer from the defunt company KayPro! The internal plastic dates this computer from 1990, which is the tail end of the company before going bankrupt in 1992. The laptop boots, keyboard functions perfectly, and the screen is still in excellent condition with no bleeding or fading. From my testing, the floppy drive and hard drive needs to be replaced, the batteries do not hold a charge, and the internal CMOS is dead. Hopefully someone can restore this relic to its former glory! Includes: KayPro LC-15AC adapter power cable2x batteries. Thank you for looking."

CAF look-a-like

The FCC ID DWHP731 is registered to
"CAF Computer Corporation
No. 21, Prosperity Road 1 Science-Based Industrial Park
Hsinchu,
Taiwan"

And was issued on Sept 14, 1990.

I found a CAF Computer with a matching case from an old eBay listing.

It is a 386SX/16 with 4MB RAM. The listing states "you can see a spot on the motherboard for a 286 & 287 so it looks like this may have been the same board used for their 286 model SuperLITE." Since the 386SX/16 came out in 1989 the Kaypro labeled version could have been a 286 or 386.
