==My notes==
Since #3590 has QC dates of August 4 and 6 [[Mainboard_81-110#81-110A_Machines|[81-110A]]], along with the fact that it is reported as of Aug 3 that 800 units had been sold[1].  Then 3590 - (800 + a few days production) ≈ 2700.  So it is likely since our earliest known serial number is #2561 that they didn't make many before that point and there is no serial #1.

My notes

Since #3590 has QC dates of August 4 and 6 [81-110A], along with the fact that it is reported as of Aug 3 that 800 units had been sold[1]. Then 3590 - (800 + a few days production) ≈ 2700. So it is likely since our earliest known serial number is #2561 that they didn't make many before that point and there is no serial #1.
