	I suspected that it might be some type of SASI or similar interface.		I suspected that it might be some type of SASI or similar interface. It turned out to be a hard drive connector. While I haven't seen the actual hard drive modular I have seen a couple of the adapted computers now.

	1986 is late in the lifecycle for a Z80 Kaypro so it looks like the company was trying to sell this as a stop gap with the ability to transfer eventually to a PC. Of course that assumes that you don't have any filetype issues.
